They're Baaack!

OMG, I'm so sorry for not updating in a while. Real life has been getting in the way, and virtual life has refused to be taken away from me. A couple of generations have passed in each family since my last update, so I'm here to fill you in! ^_^ I'll only be able to update this blog about once a week though.

VF: 1 - Cullen Family

Well, I think you all remember Rose and Emmett and their four kids - Carlisle, Julian, Moira, and Sean. Later, I think after Sean went to college, they adopted again. I named him Frances, but he didn't get to spend a lot of time with the couple. They died before he reached the age of ten.

Carlisle took over the house. And what was the first thing I saw when I clicked 'Adopt'? He adopted a little boy! I named Edward (how perfect is this?), and he got married right after that. Esme and Carlisle then had Alice, adopted Ben, and had Marc.

Now, Edward moved in and I found him (after 3 or 4 tries) a Bella. Now, here's the weird part, one of them said maybe to kids, and the other said they would be nice. A better match than I've had to deal with in past couples. Usually one or both say no way or not really. So why, then, was it such a pain for them to have kids??

They had E.J. (Edward Jacob). I wanted it to be a girl, but I thought it would be okay if the girl was second-born. Then they had Lex - they look like twins, but they're not - about eight years later. Some ten years after that, they were finally able to have the twins, Tom and Fallon! By this point I figured that they wouldn't have any more kids due to their ages and reluctance to do the dance. But I got lucky! When the twins were six, they adopted a little girl (named Kara) who I renamed Renesmee. ^_^

Bella died after Lex left. And Edward died a while later, just as the twins were going to college, leaving poor Nessie alone at 12. She's 13 now and I'll be starting the next gen to give her the house in a few minutes.

VF: 2 - Marcozo Family

Let's see ... Rowan and Melinda finally gave birth to my grandson, Nick. He was ugly, but oh well. When they died I gave the house to Selene. She married a guy I named Hugh (Jackman) and they had two kids. Pierre, and Marina (she's the first person in the VF whose name I didn't change!). It was clear through this whole generation that Marina was my favorite. She was so cute and playful. So when Selene and Hugh died, Marina moved in immediately.

After three rejected proposals, I was getting worried about her age (27) so I let her marry the next guy. His name was Marcozo, but in this family I've been naming the spouses after celebrities. And he looked so angry that all I could think about was Caius from the Twilight series. So ... Cai Marcozo was his name. They had Kristie, who I loved. Then the twins, Charlie and Ben, and for the heck of it, I let them have Katetta. The girls' names were not changed either. Later, just before Kristie left, I wanted to see if they were still able to have kids - they had Artemis (boy).

Marina eventually made Master (=D ). After Kat left for college, Cai died. A couple years later, Marina died, leaving Artemis alone at 17. I'll skip ahead to the next gen in a few minutes, giving the house to Kristie. I really did love the girls in this generation. The boys were nice too, but very ugly.

VF: 3 - Potter Family

James got the house, married Lily, and had Harry. Very straight-forward gen. Harry moved in (saying no way or not really) and married Ginny (same preference). They managed to have Lily Luna (whose adorable, but slow as a snail because she hates running), then Dora Ginny a few years later. After that, they refused to have any more. They were given the option of adopting a little boy though, which I jumped at. James Sirius has orange hair, so you'd think he actually was part of the family, but he's ugly.

It amazed me, after all the times that I've seen the desensityzation kit in stores, that it never came up while Lily Luna was living at home. The next time I saw it, I bought it right away, knowing she'd be the one to inherit the house. When I start her gen in a few minutes, that'll be the first thing I do.

VF: 4 - Winchester Family

After having Tony and Lucy, and adopting Nia, Dean & Anna had twin boys Bailey and Brent. And a couple of years later adopted Trisha. It's confusing why, with the exception of Tony, the biological kids are redheads, and the two adopted girls wound up with Anna's blonde hair. I wanted Nia to inherit the house, because I loved the way she looked, but I stuck with my 'eldest get the house' theme in this gen. Tony moved in. He married a pretty little blonde named Viva and they had Libra and Hank. I was happy with one boy, one girl. Libra will be moving in, in a few minutes.

VF: 5 - Montague Family

After Eclis and Akiana had their triplet daughters, Lina, Elsa and Roxy, I tried to give them a son. Instead, they had Beth. I thought I leave it at four girls. They decided to adopt a little boy named Zac, and then a little girl named Bell. Lina inherited the house and married Dorian Montague. By this point I'd heard about the famous alphabet challenge and decided to start it up with this family. So, cute little Bonny (whose name I thought fit her) was renamed Ashlyn. Her younger sister (of about 2 year) was called Annie. And when Lina and Dorian finally had a boy, I named him Allen. Lina will be taking over the house very soon.

Newsflash

VF: 1 - Cullen Family

Let's see... not much to announce today for the Cullens. For the first time in the Hale-Cullen family, a little boy was adopted last night. I believe his name was Stephico, but I didn't like that. I changed it to Sean. And Carlisle left for college today. Rosalie is at level 5, and Emmett is at level 4 in their careers. Rose and Em are 43, Julian's 17, Moira's 15, and Sean is now 8 (he was 3 when I adopted him).

Some cute shots below, including one of the family eating while Sean turned off the stove - but it could look like he's mad that there's not a sixth chair. And a pic I just got of Julian and Moira working out together in the laundry room. I think I also got one of the whole family celebrating a promotion.

VF: 2 - Ackles Family

Um, did I tell you all about Grace? -sigh- I really must start looking at my last posts before I start a new one. Grace the second child of Rowan and Melinda. At the moment, Rowan and Melinda are 37, Selene is 9 and Grace is 7. I've been trying to make them have another child, but they just don't seem willing to give me a grandson. They argue each time, and have done the dance three times! Rowan's a little weak right now. I think he was sick all night. I cured him when I logged on, but it's been at least eight hours and he's still weak. No fruit in the store yet.

In the second pic, Melinda's doing aerobics, Selene is getting attention, Grace is dancing to the radio, and Rowan is ignoring all of them by reading the newspaper. lol. Actually, the shot of Grace was taken later and pasted over the shot of the other three. I thought it looked cuter with the whole family doing something in the living room. ^_^

VF: 3 - Potter Family

Zia died when she was 66 and Joseph was 17. I figured since it was only one or two game years - and Joey was old enough to take care of himself - I'd let him live there 'til college then hand the house over to James. However, I got a little shock when I logged in a few minutes ago and found the Joey had adopted an orphan girl into the family. Originally named Pixie, I renamed her June. She's 3 and Joey is 18. It's kinda sad, knowing he'll be going off to college in a few minutes and she'll be left alone. At the moment I've got him repairing the workshop wall for James. Honestly, I think I'm really falling for Joey. But I still know that James needs to get the house to keep the Harry Potter theme going, so when Joe leaves, I'm going to move on to the next generation. I'd like to imagine that he raised June by himself while going to college or something. ^_^

VF: 4 - Winchester Family

Dean moved into the house yesterday. He's a food critic (personally, I think of him reviewing burger joints like Guy Fieri - from the Food Network) so I upgraded the kitchen for him. After that, I accepted his first proposal. The girl is perfect for him! Because I like her so much, I named her Anna (season 4 girl). They had a little boy first. He was named Tonic, so I shortened it to Tony. When Tony was 5, they had a little girl named Luce (I added a Y when she was 2, so it's Lucy now. she the redhead in the below pics.). When Lucy was still a baby, Dean and Anna adopted a little girl named Soonania. I didn't like her name though, so I shortened it to Nia. Now Dean's 35, Anna's 33, Tony's 9, Nia's 5, and Lucy's 4.

VF: 5 - West Family

All I have to say is that Eclis was the best of his siblings. I adopted him, he married the first woman to propose, and then I made them have a baby a while later. That baby turned out to be three - triplets on the first try! Girls. Felina (to be renamed Lina), Elsa, and Roxy. The girls are 3 now. Eclis is 28. And Akiana, his wife, is 29. I'll post the adoption and family pics in my next post.

NOTE: Before I go to bed tonight, I'll be pausing all five of my games and I won't be unpausing them 'til next Monday at the earliest. I apologize to everyone reading this blog and following my families, but VF is really consuming my life right now - it's taken me nearly two hours to write the post and check on families, for example. I'd just like a week to get things on a regular schedule again. Thank you for you patience. Good night.

Decisions, Decisions...

VF: 3 - Potter Family

A fair bit has changed here. When Zia was 52 and Logan was 53, a little orphaned boy came knocking on their door. I just didn't have the heart to turn him away. I was only able to restrain myself from making them have more when their three went off to college because I knew Zia didn't want kids and Logan was a maybe. But adopting was different... at least in my strange mind.

Anyway, Joseph (named by me) was 3 at the time. And even though I was lucky enough to have James who looked like a part of the family while he was adopted, Joey has blond hair. I can't hide that! Anyway, Logan died yesterday at the age of 59. Little Joey only had six years with him. Zia was 58 or 9 at the time. She's now 62 and Joey's 14. I hope she'll be able to last 'til he goes to college. He won't be getting the house, but I'd hate to see him left alone.

VF: 4 - Winchester Family

For the same reasons I explained above, I couldn't bring myself an little boy when he came to John and Mary's house long after Sammy went to college. They were both 61 at the time. I named the boy Adam (watch season 4 of Supernatural and you'll know why). Unfortunately John died when he was 63, and Mary died a year after that (I absolutely love the quote they gave for her). It's been a few game months now and Adam's 7. I keep trying to cheer him up, but he's still a bit blue. And now the dryer's on fire. I'm not even sure if he'll be able to make a snack to eat. So ... I think it's time I start the next generation. Sadly, that means Dean will be moving in and Adam will grow up and leave. But it has to be done.

By the way, I just found an old pic of John and Mary fixing the workshop wall with Katie and Laura. I'm not sure if I ever posted it, so here it is!

VF: 5 - West Family

Again, not much to report here. Stephen got a letter from his big brother. Right after that he wrote me a letter, and then, as he was helping me clean up the house, he disappeared off to college, dropping the remote and leaving his elderly parents to clean up a big mess! Balun's 58 and Calla's 57.

Vampires Can Die??

VF: 1 - Hale Family

Yesterday I got a really sad message on my game. Alice has died. She was 62 and perfectly healthy - I know because I'd just seen her and Jasper working on their careers about five minutes before. Anyway, I got a shot of her death announcement. Jazz was pretty depressed at first. He was 59 when she passed. But, after giving him groceries and cooking a meal (so sad to see him eat alone!) I let him have a sweet mango to boost his health which had gone down a little. I guess the mango boosts happiness too, because Jasper's status went from depressed to a little blue. After that I kinda let him do whatever he wanted.

Amazingly, he still worked a lot. But I also saw him reading the newspaper and napping and watching tv. And it was when he was watching tv that his status changed to happy! I was quite impressed that he could bounce back so quickly - within a game year! Anyhow, he turned 60 last night and I paused the game so I wouldn't miss his passing. It'll happen sometime tonight, I'm sure. I'm ready for it.

Also, got a couple of letters when I unpaused the game this morning. One from Brandon - who is the first child to write from college since Violetta talked about a rash she was getting many years ago. Jasper sent me a letter too. He asked for groceries and told me that Alice was gone. A year late there, Jazz!

RIP Alice. At least Lilliana has company now.

EDIT: Whoa! I just paid $250 for some trainer to help Jasper with his job. Jazz was already on level 7, but with the help from the trainer, he advanced one full level. He's now at the highest level, a Master! And he's making $300 a day now. ^_^ Not too shabby since I heard a lot of people saying that first generation peeps never make it to Master.

VF: 2 - Ackles Family

Jenny just left for college. It's strange, after seeing six kids running around for so long, to just have Zora living at home. Lizzy's 57, Jensen's 55, and Zora is 16. I'm hoping that Liz and Jensen will last for a few years after Zora goes off to college. I don't think they ever truly lived alone. As I remember it, I made them have a child before they finished cleaning up the house. Oh, and Zora got a letter from her big brother yesterday! The last two pics are of a teenage Zora, and the last three family members fixing a part of the floor today.

Lastly, I've either been neglecting this family or Liz and Jensen have been working really late hours. When I logged in today, they have over 7000 dollars! I won't upgrade a workroom since Lizzy uses the kitchen and Jensen uses the office, but it's definitely time to go shopping! ^_^

VF: 3 - Potter Family

Logan is 50 and Zia's 49. They're both grey, but walking with the same energy they've always had.

VF: 4 - Winchester Family

Katie went to college. I'm kinda sad. Her and Dean were my favorites. Now John and Mary are 51, Laura's 18 (and saying no way to kids) and Sammy's 16. I am happy that Sammy's grown up a bit. He was a trouble-maker.

VF: 5 - West Family

I tried one last time yesterday to make Balun and Calla have another baby - I thought I could leave them with two girls and two boys, but they refused. Eclis is now off to college and I won't try for any more kids. Balun is 44, Calla's 43, Saphina is 11, and Stephen (formerly named Stephone) is 7.

Sad Farewells

VF: 1 - Hale Family

Yesterday, before I went to bed, a floor repair kit finally appeared in the store again. This was the first since Alice and Jasper first moved into the house. Anyway, as punishment for getting out of bed, I made Alice, Jasper and Brandon fix the second crack in the floor. I guess it worked, because most of the time they'd go straight to bed after they finished one shift. Anyway, it worked. Then I opened the game today and Brandon left for college. He said Definitely to kids - the first of his siblings, as far as I know. Then, amazingly, I was able to get another floor repair kit! So Alice and Jazz finished fixing the floor today. I got a trophy for that, and also one for completing all home repairs - though I haven't fixed the fountain yet. Alice is 60 and going a little grey, with wrinkles under her eyes. Jasper's 57. They're both walking slower now.

VF: 2 - Ackles Family

Gregory is an ungrateful little git! I took him in when he was 3 and gave him a big and loving family. As soon as he turns 18 I checked his status. He doesn't want kids!! Okay, I admit, I wasn't considering Greg to inherit the house anyway. In my eyes, the oldest should get it, so it's going to Rowan. But it still makes me mad.

Anyway, Greg, Haley and Lucas went off to college today. I didn't get to see Haley and Lucas' statuses (maybe that's a good thing?). Lizzy is 52, Jensen is 50, Jenny is 14, and Zora is 10. I hope Liz and Jensen will be able to last to see Zora off to college.

VF: 3 - Potter Family

You know the problem with having three kids close together in age? They're all gonna go to college around the same time. I saw Janessa last night and I know she said No Way! to kids, that's fine, she's not inheriting the house anyway (she would, but I need James to be Harry's father). When I opened the game this morning, she and James had already gone. Jeremy said kids would be nice, and then he left too.

Now Logan's 44 and Zia's 43 and they have an empty nest. I'm very tempted to make them have another, but Zia has said no way to kids and Logan said maybe. Making them have another would be torture, not to mention pointless. I'm happy with the family the way it is. If an orphan comes... I don't know what I'll do. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

VF: 4 - Winchester Family

Dean's gone to college. John and Mary are 45 and both are going grey. Katie just turned 14, Laura's 12, and Sammy's 10. Not much else to report here.

VF: 5 - West Family

Balun's 38, Calla's 37, Eclis just turned 14, and little Saphina is 5. Balun and Calla just had their third child. A boy, currently named Stephone. I would like to change his name (I'm thinking Balvin), any suggestions?
